Play and Psychosocial Hubs
We build and equip play and psychosocial hubs within hospitals and community centres. These child-friendly hubs, manned by our trained psychologists and play interventionists, are equipped to provide emotional support for children within the hospital setting and in local communities.
By providing a safe space for children to play and find expression, we improve the hospital experience and aid the recovery process. Our community-based hubs are aimed at sustaining access to mental and psycho-social support tools for children, especially children with disabilities and chronic health conditions outside the hospital setting.
Our hub in Gbagada General Hospital has provided support for 441 hospitalised children in 10 months.
