The 2019 Bags of Joy event held on the 28th of December at 4 venues in Lagos: Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, General Hospital Ikorodu, Federal Medical Center Ebute Metta; and on the 30th of December at University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Edo state.
The event which catered to 500 children was supported by Hayat Kimya, the producers of Molfix diapers and Benjamin Olowojebutu Foundation. The children received gifts and volunteers spent time reading to the kids and engaging them in fun activities. The children were excited to get the gift bags, you could see many of them beaming with smiles and joy was radiating on their faces.
