Our 2021 Bags of Joy Christmas project was tagged Bags of Joy 2021—Nutrition Edition in response to the current realities and challenges faced by children and their families.
It was held on the 29th of December, 2021, in partnership with the Lagos State Primary Healthcare Board, using the Ikota Primary Healthcare Center, Ikota, Lekki, Lagos, as the access point.
With the support and partnership of the PHCB and MOH, Etiosa LGA, we provided health education and carefully thought-out nutrition and hygiene packages for the festive season to over 150 families with at least one child below 5 years.
The project was sponsored by our ever-supportive Lluvia donors and supported by Hayat Kimya, the producer of Molfix diapers, and Unilever Nigeria, the makers of Knorr seasoning.
