As part of our commitment to ensuring that every child is developmentally on track, we launched the Nurture Plus Initiative in 2025.
Nurture Plus is an integrated approach to support early childhood and maternal health in Lagos State. Through two outreach programmes held at Lagos Island and Alimosho Local Government Areas on the 6th of December and 13th of December respectively, we were able to reach 1959 individuals, including pregnant women, young mothers, and children with vital food support, health and nutrition education, developmental screening, and play-based learning, ensuring that children and families received holistic, practical support
This initiative was delivered through collaboration with institutional and community partners, including the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, Operation Feed Africa, and the Maternal and Reproductive Health Collective, as well as corporate and individual supporters such as Golden Penny, Peak, and the Nigerian Bottling Company.
